i think i’m going to take abreak from this blog for a little while. i just don’t need it hanging over my head at the moment. i’ll probably still update it here and there, but I don’t think i’ll be back into it too heavily until the end of the summer. when i have an actual website up. I like the IDEA of a blog more than the actual upkeep right now. i just have other things i need to focus on.

so like i said, those animals are driving me bonkers….so i’m going to take a break from it for a short while. Not too long, because then i’ll never return….but probably for the next couple of weeks, while i move from Providence back up north. I have a lot to take care of between now and then. i’ll do a few things here and there in the meantime, but i’m not going to be undertaking any huge projects. just doodling. cultivating ideas. you know, like i’ve been doing for TWO YEARS. I’ll keep sir bunnington coming because there’s no reason not to.

but also. I’ve considered going to grad school, to the point that i think i ought to start actually looking into what school i want to go to. I honestly don’t even know where to start. I’ve never looked for a school before. not really. went to Umass Dartmouth. it was the only school i applied to. mostly because i knew i wanted to go to school for art, but i didn’t want to go to an ART school, youknowwhati’msayin’ youknowwhati’msayin’? and umass d was right there. done! i didn’t have a whole lot of foresight as a child. now sometimes i think i have too much. oh well! I suppose I’ll just look into the places i already know, see what they have to offer, and then go from there. start looking in other areas. I kind of want to get out of new england, if not for just a little while. i may just end up back here. i often think i’m destined to be a new englander forever. which is cool and all. suggestions? anyone? anyone?

just found this australian band Halo and i’m a little surprised to say that I’m hooked. kind of sigur ros-y, but dripping heavy sludge metal. they create a great atmosphere. this is the kind of stuff i would listen to on the subway to work every single day. that is, if i took the subway to work….or had a job at all….or an ipod. imagine this as the background music to your life? at 7:30 in the morning? everything you do would have meaning and worth. or seem that way, at least. i recommend starting with “a soft place” to get a good idea. and then forget you ever heard it.

i think i’ve just been working on it too slowly, especially considering the size.
and i feel like i can’t move on until it’s done.
we’ll see how far i can make it tonight.
